Job Description:

Our client HQ in Belgium is looking for a Sales Manager to secure our continued growth on the French market. The successful candidate will be managing the entire sales process from identifying and contacting interesting prospects, booking meetings, and identifying the prospects’ needs, to performing after-sales activities and follow-up.

Your tasks:

  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan with a clear vision and practical actions on the short as well as on the long term
  • Actively manage the sales process from lead generation to closing and handover to the project management team:
    • Monitor and analyze market trends and identify interesting sectors
    • Identify interesting prospects in those sectors and markets
    • Identify the prospects’ needs
    • Sell Our client solutions and make suggestions on solutions enhancements and innovation
    • Set up systems once the prospect becomes a client
    • Negotiate contracts
    • Manage and maintain a ‘lead pipeline’ and ensure that all sales administration is up-to-date
Preferred Skills:

You:

  • Are proactive and self-motivated
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in French and English
  • Will understand the customers’ business needs to identify the right solutions
  • Are a confident negotiator and know how to ‘close the deal’
  • Are result- and performance-driven as well as growth focused
  • Have experience in selling B2B services, preferably within the translation industry
